2017 FAREAST 28R World Championship Closed Successfully

On August 13th, the first ever FAREAST 28R World Championship has been successfully concluded in Malmö, Sweden. 22 international teams from China, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark and Japan staged a spectacular world championship. The success of this championship showed Chinese brand Far East Boats has got highly recognition from World Sailing and become an important power in global sailing industry.

During the four racing days, about 100 global sailors have sailed high level. The intense competition and beautiful scenery attracted a lot of visitors from local and abroad. Two trams from China: Team Single Star and Team SEMITEST CHINA competed with the international top sailors and gained full of joy. After 11 rounds, Team Grifin Sailing from MSS got the first prize and awarded a FAREAST 28R boat. Team Drake from Sweden was second and won a FAREAST 19R boat. The third was Team Take Care 2 from Netherlands and got an OPTIMIST boat.

Thanks to great supports from Malmö City and MSS and efforts of FAREAST 28R International Class Association, the championship was operated smoothly. The whole event management complied with strict standard of World Sailing and ensured the process of launching boats, measurement and registration professional and efficient.
