Far East Boats at the boot Düsseldorf 2019

On January 19th, the boot Düsseldorf 2019 opened officially and welcomed more than 60,000 water sports enthusiast “on board” on Saturday and Sunday alone. The flagship FAREAST 28R and FAREAST 19R from Far East Boats made a bright show with amazing pure black and white hull. Furthermore, the first S\V 14 production boat was debut all over the world.

The S\V 14 project is an unique non-profit project which driven globally by SV14.org, Simonis Voogd Design and Far East Boats. Its design concept is appealing, easy to handle and speedy. The powerful hull shape is like the latest racing boat. This is not only to enable speed but also to give maximum stability. Besides the disabled sailors, the boat attracted many visitors to inquiry as well. Brand owners of the world famous equipment and parts suppliers, Harken, Selden and Robline came to the stand and took a closer look.

2019 European Distributors & Dealer Meeting

On January 22nd, the FAREAST 2019 European Distributors & Dealer Meeting was held in Dusseldorf. Distributors and dealers from Germany, Italy, France, UK, Netherlands, Hungary, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, Slovenia and Turkey attended the meeting. Ms. Demolar DU, Mats Runström from Far East and designer Maarten Voogd addressed the brand philosophy, products and future plan.

The meeting presented Far East’s achievements in production reform. In 2016, the quality management system of Far East Boats has been found to conform to standard ISO9001:2008. In 2017, we established Streamline and standardize production system and invested several automated production line. In 2018, we got innovation breakthrough in material used in mould and processing technology. In 2019, we head to the modern industrial transformation. So the distributors and dealers could understand deeper about strength of Far East and pave the way for a better expansion of the global market in the future.

S\V 14 Global Launch Press

On the afternoon of January 22nd, the S\V 14 Global Launch Press was held at the boot Düsseldorf. Ms. Demolar DU, Alex Simonis and former Paralympian Russell Vollmer shared the full story about the unique project. More importantly, Andy Hunt, CEO of World Sailing made a commitment to support the S\V 14 project and contribute to getting sailing back into the Paralympics.

After the press, Far East team set a beer party. All the media, guest and partner friends enjoyed a relaxed time to communicate and create more sparks of win-win cooperation.
